About Me

Sabrina Ritchie, PMHNP, AGNP

I’m Sabrina, a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner with near two decades of experience in healthcare – nine of those as an NP. But beyond the titles and certifications, I’m someone who deeply understands what it feels like to carry stress, anxiety, and burnout. I know how hard it can be to seek help and how frustrating it is to feel like just another appointment on a busy provider’s schedule.

That’s why I created Thoughtful Therapies – to offer something different. I believe mental health care should be as unique as the person receiving it. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take control of your well-being. I see you as the expert in your own experience, and I’m here to offer the tools and support that help you heal – in a way that truly resonates with who you are.

Most practices focus on fitting as many clients as possible into their schedules. I do the opposite. I intentionally limit the number of clients I take on, so I can offer undivided attention and personalized care. When we work together, you aren’t just a client – you’re someone I am deeply committed to supporting.

I chose the path of private pay because I believe healing shouldn’t be dictated by insurance checklists or time limits. This allows me to offer the kind of care I know makes the biggest difference – thoughtful, holistic, and grounded in trust.

A Bit About Me Personally…


My passion for mental health stems from my own experiences. During the height of the pandemic, I was working 12-hour shifts as a Nurse Practitioner while pregnant with my first child. I felt the weight of burnout and realized how essential it is to approach health from a whole-body perspective. That realization shaped how I practice today – with empathy, authenticity, and a strong belief that your well-being deserves to be prioritized.
